Description

The RIS-OSA’s newest undertaking is to try to establish best practices around the mess that exists today in live stream distribution. With the proliferation of so many streaming services, it’s increasingly difficult for content providers to keep up. Provisioning, securing, and providing content to this increasing number (and variety) of destinations is untenable as it currently sits. Something needs to be done if this is to be streamlined and ultimately automated using services. We will dive into the nature of the problem and what we have accomplished to date in trying to come up with solutions.
