Take-Aways from this Presentation

In this session, you will learn how to successfully manage the transition from SDI to IP-based infrastructure for video, audio, and data transport. You’ll gain a deep understanding of the challenges involved and the key questions you need to address early in the process to ensure your facility and staff are prepared for this significant shift in technology.

You will also learn the importance of identifying and engaging key stakeholders, as well as fostering project champions who can help build alignment and secure a shared vision for the future. By cultivating strong interdepartmental relationships, you’ll drive the project’s progress and ensure everyone is working toward a common goal.

The session will offer strategies to justify your project’s budget by linking the transition to clear business needs. You’ll learn how to highlight the return on investment (ROI), minimize risks, and articulate the hidden costs of not making the transition, ensuring that your budget proposals are compelling and well-supported.

Finally, you will learn about the critical role that system integrators and technology vendors play in the success of the project. You'll learn how to select the right partners, establish a realistic project timeline with clear “Go/No Go” milestones, and develop backup plans to ensure the smooth execution of your project.
