Jean-Baptiste Lorent joined intoPIX in 2007, a company creating innovative image processing and video compression solutions for Cinema, Broadcast, and ProAV applications. His focus is to deliver solutions to manage more pixels, preserve quality with no latency, save cost & power, and simplify connectivity. With the recent JPEG XS standardization, he participates in the design of new AV workflows and devices, reducing costs in HD, 4K, or even 8K, replacing uncompressed video, and preserving always the lowest latency and the highest quality. Jean-Baptiste is active in different standardization committees and alliances. He holds a business engineering Master's Degree from the Louvain School of Management (Belgium).
