Description

The desire to deliver the highest quality video can be at odds with the technical and commercial realities of creating an optimally efficient distribution network. When dealing with multiple partners, affiliates or takers, not every network endpoint has the same needs. Some takers may be limited by bandwidth on their incoming network, other takers may output a video resolution that differs to others or potentially when global distribution is required, at a different frame rate. The paper discusses implementations that allow processing efficient and cost-efficient deployments across a wide range of devices that include cloud and ground-based COTS and edge video appliance implementations which allow deployment at the most optimum locations.
