Description
“Mining the catalog” is a big part of today’s content release strategy. With the plethora of legacy titles in a studio’s catalog waiting to be repurposed, there are many hurdles that creative minds face in bringing the sound forward to the modern age. Our panel of industry creatives will discuss the challenges and approaches they’ve taken in their work on successful re-releases of legacy content. Topics include determining appropriate restoration, use of current technology, philosophy in remixing the soundtrack for theater and the home, varying loudness and dynamic range requirements, and working with talent.
