Juan Reyes is the current SMPTE Hollywood Section chair and President of Tech Align Group, a globally recognized leader in content security and technology solutions for the Media & Entertainment industry. With over 23 years of experience as a business and technical executive, Juan has been deeply involved in the industry, developing a profound expertise in content security and media and entertainment technology at many levels.

Throughout his career, Juan has actively participated in numerous industry organizations, including the Trusted Partner Network (TPN), SMPTE, 8K Association, Hollywood Professional Association (HPA), Content Delivery and Security Association (CDSA), Ultra HD Alliance, HDR10+, Consumer Technology Association (CTA), Digital Entertainment Group (DEG), among others. His contributions to many of these organizations have been instrumental in the development of technical standards, test specifications, and the creation and management of compliance programs.

Currently, Juan serves as the Executive Director of the 8K Association, where he plays a critical role in advancing 8K technology. He also chairs the Interoperability Working Group for the UHD Alliance, ensuring seamless integration of Ultra HD technologies. Additionally, Juan is a TPN advanced assessor, providing global support to service providers in helping them maintain the highest standards of content security.
