Nabil Ibrahim is a skilled research professional with a robust background in 5G technology, having worked at Ericsson as a Senior Researcher from October 2014 to December 2022. His work primarily focused on advancing 5G applications across different sectors, including automotive, industrial, and media production. In his role, Nabil made significant contributions to the 5G-RECORDS project, a collaborative initiative funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 program. He led efforts in preparing and deploying the media production use case within Ericsson’s private 5G network. This project explored the capabilities of 5G technology in supporting live media production, addressing technical challenges like wireless camera synchronization and low-latency video transmission. Nabil’s work was pivotal in demonstrating how 5G can enhance media production workflows, bringing new possibilities for wireless and remote operations. His expertise in this area has been instrumental in pushing forward the boundaries of 5G technology, particularly in its application within the media industry. Throughout his career, Nabil has been committed to driving innovation and contributing to the development of cutting-edge 5G solutions that address real-world challenges.
