Erik Weaver is an Emmy-nominated producer and the head of Virtual & Adaptive Production at the University of Southern California’s Entertainment Technology Center (ETC). Known for his work in immersive media, he has executive-produced projects like Ripple Effect, Fathead, and Europa, advancing ICVFX technology. He’s also the founder of the ETC R&D Innovation Grant and has worked on AI-powered projects such as the animated ChickaBOOM and two live-action AI films, Pathways and The Bends. Erik is a graduate of the 3rd Unreal Fellowship and 3rd ICVFX Fellowship
