Simon Patenaude serves as a Senior Technical Advisor for CBC/Radio-Canada. With over two decades of experience, he has risen from operational roles to become a technical leader managing complex engineering projects. His portfolio is extensive, featuring the design and construction of OB trucks, the national deployment of centralized NRCS and Graphics systems, and the modernization of control room workflows. Simon was also instrumental in the transition of La Maison in Montréal to adopt ST 2110 standard. Currently, he is guiding technical teams in transitioning to software-defined media functions based on the EBU's DMF reference architecture.
