ErinRose Widner is a creative at heart who is passionate about the intersection of new technology, media, and innovation. She is a business development and strategy leader in the M&E and technology space and has created transformational partnerships and innovative solutions for WB, Fox, Paramount Global, Microsoft, Google and Apple. She is currently the Global Head of Business Strategy for Emerging & Creative Technologies, M&E for Verizon. Over the years she has been involved in a number of industry groups including SMPTE, HPA, WICT, NAMIC, IEEE, Sundance Institute, Film Independent, ETC and Women in Film. She currently sits on the IBC Council and has been a champion of the IBC Accelerators, including leading a revolutionary project in 2024 around personalized content leveraging LLMs, AI and Open Cache. Based on her work and perspective, she has spoken at well-respected industry events including NAB, IBC, AWS M&E Symposium, SMPTE Summit, Infinity Fest, Mile High Video etc. She is also very active in Rise, an award-winning global advocacy membership organization supporting gender diversity across the media technology sector, where she serves on the board, and oversees the mentoring program for N.America. Additionally, she is part of the SVTA Streaming Sports Council and is a member of Women in Streaming Media which empowers diversity within the streaming media industry.
