Mr. CV Rao is the Chief Technology Officer at Annapurna Studios, one of India's leading film production studios. He holds a Postgraduate degree in Economics from SV University, Tirupati, and has further specialized in advanced film technologies throughout his career. Beginning as a Graphic Designer in advertising, Mr. Rao transitioned into film post-production, where he gained extensive expertise across the entire production pipeline before becoming General Manager of Post-Production. With a unique blend of technical excellence and strategic leadership, he has overseen the successful delivery of more than 500 films and contributed to landmark productions such as Baahubali and RRR. He has also received an international award for editing a short film. Mr. Rao has been instrumental in driving technological innovation at Annapurna Studios, leading the establishment of one of India's most advanced virtual production stages and the country's largest motion capture facility. Most recently, he spearheaded a partnership with Dolby to create India's exclusive grading and mastering facility dedicated to Dolby Cinema content. His vision, technical expertise, and commitment to innovation continue to position Annapurna Studios at the forefront of cinematic technology and filmmaking excellence.
