We're actively building our own rendition of the Dynamic Media Facility (DMF), a direct outcome of our collaboration with the EBU and industry partners in defining their reference architecture. We will explore our early concepts for a unified user interface, driven by the question: Can an entire newscast be produced with a single laptop and UI? We'll highlight the integration challenges within our current ecosystem, focusing on production automation and delivering crucial signal return feeds to operators via WebRTC. We will explore the inherent challenges this presents, particularly when integrating vendor applications often optimized for specific hardware preferences, and detail our strategies for addressing these disparities to achieve a truly unified and efficient platform.
